Our REAL Christmas trees are, of course, a 100% renewable crop

This summer we installed 54 solar panels with a plated capacity of almost 10 kW. If you have a South facing roof, look into a solar array. With the new Ontario rules it can be an attractive investment. The Owen Sound branch of www.sunvoltssolar.com did an excellent job for us.

Both our farm homes have geothermal HVAC, one for the past 20 years. We also use two plug-in electric vehicles to get around the farm.
